Local GuideSo this engagement was off to a rocky start with the business development person being uncooperative, combative and threatening. However, Floorzy turned things around by calling me to understand the problem I had faced with the concerned member of the team and onboarding my feedback. Here’s all the good stuff: 1) my bottaccino floors look so good now - especially my kitchen. 2) most of the team members were incredibly polite and diligent. Special shout out to Ajay. 3) the equipment they used was not as loud and messy as some of the other equipment I have seen being used by other vendors 4) the CEO is incredibly responsive and clearly takes pride in what he does. Really appreciate that! 5) Mr. Ratan’s guidance to the team and his supervision was incredibly valuable 6) the team didn’t damage any other items in the process of cleaning the house. They were very careful with all my belongings. 7) the team showed up on time every morning! Here are some areas of improvement: 1) the handover from business development to operations is not seamless, leaving the customer confused 2) the operations person was very hard to reach post the first day and no one else was able to take over for him 3) the timelines committed don’t match the actuals. I was told 4 days, but the project took 6 days and 2 hours. 4) the manpower was halved after day 4 and I was promised that this would not impact quality or timelines; but it impacted both. After I insisted on adding a few extra hands to the team, however, this was done and we were able to complete the project comparatively more quickly and to a high spec. On a more neutral note, the bathroom was not completed to the same quality as the rest of the flooring was but I was told that that was the best they could do.
